After a nice, mild day Saturday, rain returns to the forecast Sunday as a strong storm system moves in. Sunday will start with some clouds, and even some fog in the morning, but rain is expected to hold off until the afternoon. Initially the rain will come in the form of a few scattered showers, with more widespread and heavier rain to arrive into the evening and overnight.A flood watch has been issued in anticipation of the heavy rain… Localized ponding of water in typical flooded areas as well as ponding of water on streets with poor drainage are most susceptible. It’s a good idea to clear any storm drains nearby that may be covered by leaves. In terms of rainfall, amounts may be upwards of 3 inches in spots, especially west of I-95.High wind gusts will also be a factor, with peak wind gusts over 60mph a possibility. A High Wind Watch is out for the Cape and Islands, with a Wind Advisory for the coast. The storm wraps up early Monday, with cold air filling back into the...4 honored at Boston’s Breakfast for Survivors of Homicide Victims

BEIJING (AP) — A workshop built from steel sheets collapsed in southern China, killing six people and injuring three others, authorities said.An investigation is underway into the cause of Saturday’s accident in Guizhou province. The three injured people remained hospitalized as of late Saturday and there were no updates on their condition Sunday.Building collapses are not uncommon in China, where structures are sometimes thrown up without lawfully obtaining proper permits and safety standards are often ignored. The illegal addition of extra floors and failure to use reinforcement is often blamed for such disasters. The Wild won’t exactly limp into Sunday’s game at Seattle, the last in a four-game road trip that already has taken them through Western Canada. But they’ll do so after being reminded that in some ways, they’re still the team that lost 11 of 13 games and got their head coach fired.Under John Hynes, the Wild found a new lease on life, another gear and a tweaked system that plays to their strengths, and it all showed during an impressive, four-game winning streak. The Wild outscored their opponents 18-5 overall, 9-1 in the first period, and never trailed. That changed in a 2-0 loss at Vancouver, the team’s first shutout loss of the season, and in Friday night’s 4-3 loss in Edmonton to the streaking Oilers.“We weren’t going to win all games to the end, right?” goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury said after making a season-high 36 saves against the Oilers. “Still need to progress, still need to learn from our mistakes and still need to get better and do John’s systems and thoughts.”A serious is...Latest news
