An investigator for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has been charged with grand theft after he allegedly stole items off of deceased individuals during death investigations, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday afternoon.Adrian Muñoz, 34 years old, was suspended on Tuesday and charged with one felony count of grand theft of property and one misdemeanor count of petty theft of property. Three people who allegedly trafficked two teenage girls to engage in commercial sexual activities at Ace Care, a massage parlor in Redlands, have been arrested after being indicted by a federal grand jury.The suspects include the manager of the massage parlor, Ji Ryang Chae, 54, who currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the manager-in-training, Jasmine Dakota Beverly, 24, a current resident of Costa Mesa, and Earnest Akindele Teamer, 26, from Redlands, who acted as a recruiter for the massage parlor, authorities said.All three are accused of one count of conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking of a minor.
