DENVER (KDVR) — Police and firefighters in Thornton are working to contact a person who is climbing a radio tower.The Thornton Fire Department said crews were responding to a person who was climbing a radio tower near 104th Avenue and Riverdale Road. The intersection is just east of the Riverdale Open Space. Why did Jeffco wait to warn about the trail predator? Crews said they are working to turn the power on the tower off.Police have closed off roadways near the tower for safety concerns. DENVER (KDVR) — Arvada Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly fired several shots and injured three unhoused women. Friday at 1:09 a.m., Arvada police received 911 calls from witnesses who reported a shooting near the 7-Eleven located at 7355 Ralston Road.According to the witnesses, two males entered the convenience store and began shoplifting. When the two exited the 7-Eleven they were confronted by several unhoused individuals about the theft. Caught on camera: Repeat vandal strikes Denver nonprofit Police said an altercation ensued and the suspects got into an older sedan. The car was described as a white four-door sedan with a brown scrape on the driver's side door and front bumper damage. A man has died after he threatened two people inside a store along busy Lincoln Road while armed with a knife, forcing officers to open fire, police said.According to Miami Beach Police, they received a disturbance call along the 900 block of Lincoln Road of an armed male subject, Thursday afternoon. The Miami Police Department is investigating the mother who falsely claimed her children were abducted by their father. On Friday morning, authorities issued a missing person report to help find two children who were believed to be in the company of their father. After further investigation, police stated that the father had legal authorization to travel with his children. The children were deemed safe by Miami Police. (CNN) — A Florida man has been charged with murder in the 1993 death of 12-year-old Jennifer Odom, a Tampa-area girl who had disappeared after getting off her school bus, authorities said Thursday.A grand jury indicted Jeffrey Norman Crum, 61, on charges of murder, kidnapping and sexual battery in connection with Odom’s killing, Bill Gladson, state attorney for Florida’s 5th judicial circuit, said in a news conference.Crum has been in prison since 2019, serving two life sentences for sexual battery in a separate case, according to state prison records. CALLOWAY, Fla. (WSVN) – The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of two adult females in connection with a disturbing altercation that took place on July 4 at a house party. The incident resulted in a physical fight, during which one woman bit off the top of the other’s ear following an argument over stolen alcohol and vape pens.The investigation revealed that the altercation occurred at 6526 Olokee St. in Calloway, Florida, where an unsupervised house party was underway with several minors in attendance.
