SACRAMENTO — Even without Steph Curry and Chris Paul, and playing in a game that means nothing in the standings, the Warriors and Sacramento Kings played some entertaining preseason basketball at the Golden 1 Center on Sunday night. The Warriors overcame a 15-point deficit in the third quarter to force overtime, then knocked off the Kings with a 121-115 victory to move to 3-0 in the preseason.Still, there’s little doubt that the Kings have something to prove after the Warriors eliminated them from the postseason in April. It was here at the Golden 1 Center that the Warriors won a crucial Game 5 in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, then laid an egg in Game 6 at home before going back to Sacramento and watching Curry score 50 points on their way to a series win.The Kings are back this season with a similar look, and the Domantas Sabonis-Da’Aaron Fox combination was on full display again on Sunday night in the Kings’ first home game since their postseason eliminat...

But our guy was really good, Monty, terrific job he did. And he got in a couple of jams there and found a way to get out of it.”In the ALCS for the first time since back-to-back appearances in 2010-11, the Rangers improved to 6-0 this postseason after sweeping the Rays in the Wild Card Series and the Orioles in the Division Series. The winning streak followed loses in their previous six p...

Buffalo Bills hang on — barely — in a 14-9 win over the New York Giants

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Josh Allen patiently oversaw two lengthy second-half scoring drives, capped by a 15-yard touchdown pass to Quinton Morris with 3:58 remaining, and the Buffalo Bills defeated the undermanned but gritty New York Giants 14-9 on Sunday night. What was anticipated to be a Bills blowout turned into a ground-it-out, yard-by-yard, chippy and occasionally sloppy thriller that wasn’t decided until the final play, and on an untimed down. Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s pass into the end zone glanced off Darren Waller’s finger tips facing first-and-goal from the 1.
